Cant believe Payton's 30 months old. Crazy how fast time goes by. Shes growing up way too fast..... I wish i could hold her in my arms forever. Shes doing really good potty training. she loves wearing her panties. and she can sit on the grown up potty now. hahah. Going through alot of changes in our life right now. but we are doing ok...

Can't believe Payton is 28 months old today. She's growing up way to fast. She's doing great at potty training and she can talk really good. Finished decorating her room except I just need to get a new bed sheets. Be other then that its so cute.. Its a chocolate Brown, light and dark pink poka dots room. Nothing else has been new.

Payton had a good Christmas except for being sick. Got lots of fun toys. Her favorite one would have to be her kitchen then her computer. Payton got sick so we didnt go to my moms christmas eve party. She had a double ear infection so my mom,kerry and chance stopped by to say hi and open presents. she had a fever for a week. finally christmas day she didnt have a fever. So we had breakfast at my dads then came home and she played with her toys the rest of the day. I got a sweet camera (cannon EOS rebel T1i) and jim got some stuff for his gun etc. I cant believe the years almost over.

Bought Pay some panties and started potty training her.. She is doing so good. Cant believe how smart she is. Shes had some accidents but over all makes it to the potty. Im so proud of her!

Has all her canines in now. One of the four 2 year molars are coming through. Ouch.

She's such a big girl now. I miss holding her like a baby.

I can't believe Paytyns 2 today. Makes me feel old. Hahah. Jims grandma flew from cali to stay with us for pays bday. It was nice spending time with her. Payton loves her. We had her party Saturday. It was really fun. Took lots of pictures and videos. Will post soon.
Well pay is such a big girl now. She can swing on the big girl swings. She can swim with her floatys. Is getting really good at talking and doing things. Can't believe how time flys by.

Cant believe Paytyn is going to be 2, next month... Time flys by so fast. Feels like only yesterday we came home from the hospital... Well she can say the abcs almost all by herself. its so cute. im trying to record her but she stops everytime she sees im recording her. hahaha. Shes getting so big and loves her toddler bed. well a crib turned into a toddler bed. Loves to go for walks and the park. 2 days ago was the first time i let her go barefoot in the sand at the park. and she freaked out at first and was saying ewwweee. it was so funny. but then jim showed her that he liked to walk on the sand and then shes started walking on it. and at the end she started playing in it hahaha. she can go down the slides all by her self now too. hahaha. she loves seeing puppys when walking or at the park. she has to pet or see everyone. still calls them uppys. which is funny cuz she can say her p's but still calls them uppys. loves hanging with my friend rachels kids, camo and Quentin.. she can say camo but calls Quentin - tentin. so cute. and when we drive in rachels neighborhood she says camo.. its crazy how smart she is and all the things she remembers.
Anyways i cant believe im going to be turning 26 soon. i feel old. i mean my little sister is starting college next month. thats just werid to me. i feel like i just graduated high school. but then again. i guess it feels more like i just graduated college. which was in 06. i dont like how time goes by fast. i wish i could push the slow down button on certain times in my life. or even the rewind button. but in reality that could never happen. Well i guess you can say im just going on and on about nonsense. you can say im bored.
well all i know is that i have become closer and closer to my Heavenly Father. And i hope and pray we all draw closer. For nothing is possible with out him. If we only put trust and faith in him and keep the commandments and repent we will be saved and return with him for eternity.

It started with Jim waking up to his bathroom mirror covered in writing and a card Payton made sitting on the counter.

Then we went out to breakfast and headed to As You Wish pottery at Desert Ridge. Jim and I painted cups then had payton put her hand print on both of our cups. then payton painted a puppy by herself. Looks pretty. hahaha. very creative. hahah
Will post more pics soon. Got some good pics of payton getting paint all over her and freaking out. She hates being dirty. such a girly girl.

Payton climbs up on her booster seat in the kitchen all by herself. then climbs on the stools too. Jim caught her on the counter the other day. and caught her again yesterday. She also sits on the arm of the couch, and sometimes climbs off and on the arm of the couch. she gets into every drawer in the kitchen. (thats waist high) and can reach things that are on the edge of the counters so i have to push everything back. she can open her closet doors and likes to hide in there. hahahah. soon shes going to be getting out of her crib. scary. luckily we have a toddler railing that attaches to her bed. but then im going to have to put everything away that she can reach like her diaper creams/diapers.fans.baby monitors. guess ill have to buy some shelves.

Her new thing is that when we go bye bye. she has to hold my truck keys and put the keys in the ignition and have me help her turn it before she will go in her seat. its like a routine. hahaha. and she has to bring her hat now. along with her sippy and sometimes her blanket. She likes to do things herself sometimes. like buckle herself in her booster chair, if i dont let her do it herself she will get mad. so independent some times. watch out. hahahah.

What she has been doing lately is sad and cute at the same time. when it starts getting bed time. we lay her down with us on the couch and if we start singing a slow song she starts to cry.... then when we stop she stops... hahahahha. i almost took a video.. i will next time we sing to her before bed.

Urgent Care.

Yuppie for me. I went to Urgent Care yesterday. Not fun.. It started with Payton getting sick last Friday with an ear infection and pink eye. then Jim and i both got pink eye. got her on antibiotics and eye drops. then i got the flu afterwards. felt like crap all weekend. We all got over pink eye and i started getting over the flu but then started getting a cough and my throat started hurting even worse. So now i have strep throat says the urgent care people. I knew it.. i always get those, stupid. I'm on antibiotics now and cough medicine. So far I'm still coughing and my throat still hurts, my nose is a little stuffy and my chest feels like there's crap in there.. I've been sick since Saturday and its now Wednesday. What the crap. I'm so frustrated. I don't know why I'm not getting better. Payton seems better but she is coughing. her last set of antibiotics are today. i really don't think she has gotten enough antibiotics in her because she just kept spitting it out. i don't know why they didn't give me flavored medicine.Well tomorrow nights my sisters graduation so i hope i feel better..and Saturday is my family Reunion. so pray for me to feel better! lol thx~

She says her name now!! So cute... She can also say Jackson one of our cats name. Shes really smart. Cant believe shes almost 2.
:( They grow up way too fast. Makes me feel old. hahaha.

Shes really good at repeating what you say. Everyday we go through saying and pointing to certain things around the house and body parts, and each day i add 1 or 2 more things to learn and she catches on really fast... I cant even list all the things she knows or says. too many.. lol. but ill list a few ones she says alot.

sky, star, moon. wall. fan. door (alot of animals sounds and names) knows chest,shoulder,knees,elbow,chin now. it so cute how she says jump. says love you, blanket, drink. juice.water.bird.kitty.milk.food.eat. all done. all gone. what was that. and one of my favorites. she says hide. and she whispers and puts one finger up to her mouth like shes saying be quiet.shh. lol... and she hides or wants you to hide too, over a blanket. now in the morning instead of crying when shes awake she says mom quietly then it gets louder and louder. and goes mom mom mom.. its so funny. then shes all wheres momma... she tells Jim all the time wheres momma even if i left the room for a sec. lol.. shes such a mommas girl. lol..she says hold on. move. bite.cool.nice.glasses and please alot. says pretty. says bug and points then screams. hates being dirty thinks everything thats on her like food or something is a bug and freaks out. lol..if her feet/socks are dirty from walking outside she'll look at her foot and go eweee...yuckies.she such a girlie girl. didnt get that from me. lol.. she loves wearing my hills and holding purses. i think i mentioned that before. lol.ops. she likes to point at pictures and say dadda,payton and momma. lol..and if were eating she'll touch her plate and say mine.or points to her self or calls herself momma. then points to mine or jims and says mommas and daddas. so cute. she does that with clothes too. says where are you going. be nice. good girl.thats a baby. says A.B.C.D.E.O.T.Y.P. etc. counts her fingers while saying 1 2 3. says hold on and puts up one finger. says stop and puts her hand up. says we go bye bye. when she gets tired so shes go nite nite. and grabs her blanket and sippy which she takes everywhere.lol... so cute.

Over the weekend Payton got an ear and eye infection then the next day i got her eye infection and it turned into a flu. shes on antibiotics and eye drops. Shes feeling better now. Me on the other hand. im still sick... i never get sick but when i do i get it bad. not cool.
but i better feel better by Thursday. its my sister Emily's graduation.. cant believe my baby sister is graduating..(well one of my baby sisters Brianna's younger then her lol) that makes me sad and feel old all at the same time. lol.. well thats life. everyone grows up.

Paytons 19 months today!

Payton says open and close while opening and closing something. says monkey and makes monkey noises and puts her hand in her arm pit like a monkey. makes elephant noises and uses her hands and waves it by her mouth like an elephants trunk. she can say duck and tries to make the qwack sound. tries to put her pants on herself. says spoon and almost says fork. shes tall enough now she can get into the top drawers and can reach the silverware. scary. we had everything low babylocked now we need to lock everything stomach height hahaha. her favorite thing to say is thank you,milk,glasses,no,up and down,kitty, uh oh, blanket and now can say sippy. she makes snoring noises and says shhhh night night and puts one finger next to her mouth while saying shhh. hahaha. whenever shes done eating, she lifts up her empty plate or bowl and says, all gone. can wisper. knows what tv and mail means and loves getting the mail with me and when im on the labtop and she wants my attention she will close the laptop.now she has to have her blanket and sippy everwhere she goes and if she doesnt have them she will point to it and says momma or nana. she likes to fed the cats whatever shes eating. hahaha.and her new thing is she says no and claps. i guess i shouldnt do that anymore. hahah. cant believe how big shes gotten. she wears size 5 diapers. 2T-3T in clothes and she wears size 6-7 in shoes. its crazy how time flys by. so bless to have a sweet, healthy little girl!!!

Says mess (when im cleaning and theres stuff on the floor) makes a fish face, shakes her head yes. says eat , says wash and puts her hands together to wash them. for the first time tonight she can lay on her back in the bath. and tries to get in the bath herself now. (shes so use to taking showers) says brush says button says wall, and tries to say fan and moves her hands around and goes wo wo wo. like the fan goes around and around

Her new favorite thing to say and do is up and down. and she tries to jump its so cute.

I cant believe Paytyn is 18 months already.. :( Well here are some updates....

calls her tooth brush teeth, says and signs more
if you say count she'll try and count or point to things while i count them. says blue, tries to say bath. signs and says milk and food. says elmo, says ish (fish). says hi and bye. says pee and points to it and sqwats and also goes ehehehe..when she has yuckes(#2) or touches her back.
when im singing paddy cake she'll skip to the whole song and say pat it, pat it(while shes patting her lap) then she will jump to itsy bitsy spider and put her fingers together (when the spider is going up the water spout) ahahaha
says blanket, tries to say bear but says be, says down, says ouch or hot, blows on her food if hot, says keys, says cookie and mmmm, says pants, knows alot of animals noises and points to them (horse,pig,cow,sheep,bird,cat,dog,elephant,sometimes monkey)
if i say turn the light off/on ill pick her up and she'll turn the light switch on/off.. or says push when she wants to push a button..says dance then dances. and when i say sing she'll try to sing or get her microphone out. helps me change her clothes, helps me unload/load the dishwasher and helps me put clothes in and out of the washer and dyer..\moves her arm side to side like shes leading music when music is playing. loves playing the piano... loves getting the mail with me.
when im in the family room, ill grab a diaper and the wipes and she will lay down on the floor so i can changer her.. she just started doing it... so cool! and when i put her down for bed/nap when im leaving the room she'll either say night or bye.. so cute!!!!! and when shes in her play car she will say bye or hi.. and always says beep beep (horn nose)
tries to sing the alphbet when her abc toy sings it. can say some of them.

Last night i surprised Jim by taking him to Graham central station karaoke.... Jim had no idea that we were going out.. we just hung at home most of the day.

(i made it that way to make him think there was nothing going on hahah. payton and i got him each a card and candy. and payton colored a picture and i made b-day posters that i put on the walls that he would see when he woke up. and i wrote on his mirror in the bathroom)

it started getting later, jim was playing xbox and i got ready then started doing my hair. i told him i was just messing with it..haahh. then jim said he wanted to go to guitar center and im all no. hahah and hes all why and i didnt say anything then the door bell rang. and jims all who is that. and i didnt say anything hahaha. it was my step mom and sister to come watch Payton while "Jim and i go out" hahah so he thought.. so then he started get excited, then he got ready. then while we were driving our friend ted called and asked what we were doing and Jim's all Dani's taking me out to dinner. and teds all that's cool, Tim and i are going out to eat with friends. (making it sound like hes busy) then when we got in the area hes all, were going to graham central station huh?.,.then hes all by our selves? all bummed out... :(
then hes all its not going to be fun unless we have more people. then hes all man should of called ted... then we get inside and ted and all of our friends were there to surprise him. and his mouth dropped...at the end of the night he said that was like the best b-day ever...
He got a nice microphone for his b-day present too

It feels like only yesterday it was 2003. I can not believe it has been 7 years since then. I am getting old. Well i just want to reach out to my family and friends who have been there for me! Heat Rash

Last night i noticed a rash starting between her legs. then it keep getting worse. It spread all over her stomach, armpits and all around her diaper and behind her neck where her hair lays.
It was really hot in our house yesterday and i noticed paytons hair all sweaty..so i got a fan to cool the room off. it didnt help. her rash just got worse. i gave her a luke-warm bath to try and cool her down and open her pours. It didnt help it just made it more red. Gave her an otterpop (it was closed) to suck on something cold. Gave her some tylenol, gave her another bath and watched her all night.

This morning its mostly gone!!!!
I dont understand how babies get heat rash so easy and so bad. i heard its not bad, they are just hot and their pours our clogged or something..

Yesterday we celebrated Paytons 1st bday. It turned out really good. I had lots of help and family and friends there to help celebrate the special day...There was food, games, cake, swimming, gifts and all that fun stuff.

Yesterday was my 25th bday.. jim took the day off so he could spend the whole day with Payton and I. We went out to breakfast at Mimis Cafe and then he took us to dinner at cheesecake factory.. When i got there family and friends were there to suprize me. Stacye set the whole thing up! Thanks girl! Fever

Payton had a fever of 101 monday morning so we took her to the Dr but the Dr said she was fine just teething...we came home and it went up too 102.. stayed up all night and morning with her and it reached 103. she was tossing,turning and whining so i gave her a bath and medicine. Tuesday day she had a fever on and off. This morning at 5 it was 103 again. gave her a cold towel on her forehead and medicine. Shes doing a little bit better. her fever has gone down. Shes eating/drinking good. Active.. Heard some other babies were having a 48 hour fever. Hope Payton's better tomorrow or I'm going to call the Dr again. never heard of a baby having a 103 temp cuz of teething maybe a slight temp.. i guess its just a 48-72 hour fever thats going around.
Its thursday and shes doing better.

Ok i got Payton this toy (walk n ride) I put it together and she got up and started pushing it around the house and before you know it she started walking without it the next day.. got her on video with the new toy!! Ill also post her walking by herself around the house... Crazy! my little girls growing up so fast... i recommend anyone whos baby is trying to walk get the walk n ride!!

Utah for the 4th of July

We went to Jims dads summer house in Utah for the 4th. It was really fun. We went shooting, quading (ATV & rhino), horseback riding, lit fireworks, and watched a parade. Payton loved being on the horse and rhino. It was nice to get away from the world for a while. Everyone helped watched Payton it was nice!

Cali for a wedding

This past weekend we went to California for Jims friends wedding. We stayed at Jims dads house. Payton loved seeing all the horses, dogs and cats they had in their backyard. Everyone was happy to see Payton. Jims California family and friends finally met Payton. We just hung with Jims friends and family. The weather wasnt too bad. it got cold at night though. The wedding was beautiful. Took some pics. Well put up soon. Payton did pretty good riding in the car for 6 hours there and back. Got alittle tired of being in the car seat. poor thing.

Okay today Jim, Stacye, Payton and I all went to Red Lobster for dinner (i know i know i hate sea food but i had chicken) and we were in the waiting area. Stacye and Payton were playing on the floor when payton started walking towards stacye. it was so cool. wish i got it on camera. tried to get her to do it again but she didn't want to. So hopefully next time ill have my camera on me. once i get it ill post it..... crazy huh paytons only 9 months too!! smart girl

She wont do it now. i try to get her to do it again and she starts to cry cuz shes scared. how sad. she'll do it on her own one day. lol

Yesterday my mom and i went to lunch and my mom started doing patty cake patty cake bakers man...... and Payton started clapping. she has never done that before. Then when Jim got home from work we started clapping and she started clapping. it was so cute~~ ill try to get a video or pic of her doing it...

She can also stand up by herself and stay up without holding on to something for a couple of seconds then looses balance and holds on to something. she'll be walking in no time.

Jims Grandpa Died

Well thursday 5/14 we got a call from Jim's dad that grandpa was in the hospital and it didn't look good. He was complaining of an ear ache and it turned into bacteria spinal meningitis. Jim was going to fly out to Utah, where they were vacationing at, but meningitis is contagious and babys can't fight it so Jim couldn't go say goodbye. Jims grandpa passed saturday 5/16. He will be missed by all. He was going to be coming in 2 weeks to finally meet Payton too. :( I bet he's looking down at her now.

Ok today Payton did some tummy time in our bedroom and i put a toy across from her and she took her first crawling steps today and crawled to her toy. I was like go Payton go!!! Boys and Girls Club Fund Raser

We went to a charity dinner event last night, for the boys and girls club cuz Jims work donated. It was a nice place. They had silent and live auctions. One thing they were auctioning that we wanted was a 9 week old lab. He was so cute. But we held back. lol. We all dress up all fancy. It was fun!!! We missed our little sick Payton though.

Paytons sick- for the first time!

Poor girl. Well she woke up this morning like at 4 am tossing and turning then threw up and it got in her nose and she couldnt breathe. It was so sad. I had to use the plunger thing to get it out. Then i noticed she seemed hot. Took her temp. it was 101.5. Gave her some Tylenol. She kindof had diarrhea too. So at 2pm i took her to the Dr. and she said she had an ear infection. Got some antibiotics. Got home, give her more tylenol but it didn't work so we put a cold/warm washcloth on her head. She liked it, cuz she was so hot. She is really fussy and crying alot.

3/26/09

This morning her fever still wasn't down so i gave her Morton/ibuprofen instead and it worked like a charm lowing it a little. Now she's coughing up a storm and congested. Was constipated but now she's pooping like crazy, some diarrhea.(think from the antibiotics) Still fussy.

3/27-29/09

Still coughing alot making her almost throw up. Poor girl. Some chest/throat congestion and pooping every second, some diarrhea. We didn't take her anywhere cuz we didn't want her getting worse or getting someone else's kid sick. You can say we're over protective. lol lol. Fever is lowering.

***We missed Rachels and my Grandmas birthday dinner 3/27. and Stacyes sons birthday party 3/29. Sorry everyone!!!

UPDATE: 4/2/09

Paytons finally done taking her medicine. Seems to be fine. Except some coughing and chest congestion and now nose. allergies? change in weather? i don't know how cuz we barely go outside.

Payton got her shots friday. She weighed 20.8 lbs and is 28 inc long now. She got 4 shots. The first two she didn't cry but then the last two she looked up at jim then started crying, it was so sad. Then we both held her to comfort her and she stopped. She was kind of cranky after and ran a little fever for the first time. But starting feeling better. Glad she doesn't have to get anymore shots until shes 9 months.
